Donate Today!

This donation will help a lot to achieve our mission. We’ll be able to:

  • Provide transportation for community members who otherwise cannot reach their medical appointments
  • Reduce isolation for our vulnerable, providing companionship and critical opportunities to connect
  • Assist with outdoor property care, for those who physically and financially are unable to meet safety requirements
  • Divert perfectly edible food from landfill, and instead into the hands of hungry community members
  • Provide barrier free, judgment free, and anonymous access to food for anyone who is hungry
  • Work with social service partners and our volunteers to fill the changing gaps in our community

Did you know that Helping Hands Cochrane helps feed and provide basic living essentials and support to those in need all across Cochrane and surrounding communities? It’s a big mandate, and one that is growing steadily. Last year, we saw the number of clients needing support increase by close to 60 per cent.

The need is great, and it is only growing. To meet these demands, we’ve doubled the number of programs we provide to those in need. But despite all these achievements, there is more to do.

The economic and pandemic challenges of recent years have made it more important than ever to ensure our most vulnerable individuals have the support they need to thrive.  You can help by making a donation to ensure that everyone in our community of Cochrane has support to meet their basic human needs.

We couldn’t do any of this without your help. Please consider making a regular monthly contribution, or a one-time donation. Thank you!

Thank you!

Times are tough for many of us. If you are unable to make a financial donation right now, but have some spare time in your schedule, please consider volunteering for Helping Hands Cochrane.  Your contribution matters! We are always looking for help in food collection and stocking, support for our food drives, and other community supports like our Volunteer Driver Program, which had more than 650 requests for assistance last year alone.
