The Helping Hands Society of Cochrane & Alberta is a volunteer linking organization and a registered charity. We link people who can help with people who need help. And although we’re widely recognized for our annual community food drives in Cochrane, which we’ve been proudly coordinating since 2007, we actually offer nine other programs to the community.
Helping Hands volunteers fill unmet human needs and are here to assist low income individuals, single parent families, seniors, chronically ill or injured, and newcomers with practical needs. Our clients are those who do not have a support network or financial resources to help themselves.
As a charity we survive on grant funding and community donations.
