We are thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Shelley Mercer. Shelley has joined Helping Hands as our Volunteer Coordinator.

Shelley came to Cochrane 8 years ago hoping to raise her two children in a small town community. Having developed a heart for serving others while working at The Mustard Seed’s permanent supportive housing she is looking forward to serving our community as the volunteer coordinator here at Helping Hands. A nature lover at heart, she enjoys hiking in the mountains, attending church and spending time with her family and her fur babies. She firmly believes in promoting equality and fostering inclusive environments, encouraging mutual understanding, as well as upholding dignity and respect in all interactions.
