Introducing and offering a warm welcome to our new Food Rescue Coordinator of the Helping Hands team!
My name is Carmen: a mom of two boys, a Cochranite since 2010, professional organizer, co-founder of HOME BASE magazine and now Food Rescue Coordinator for Helping Hands and I am honored to add the last title to my resume. As a Cochranite that has personally experienced food insecurity from time to time, having this resource in town is a tremendous benefit. I am excited to expand the program and save more food to provide more meals to the people of Cochrane. I look forward to meeting all the volunteers and community members that make the Free Food Sheds possible!
